Alex Milgrom was originally born and raised in Paris, France but made his move to Los Angeles, CA at the age of 15. He has always been a competitive person. Alex says, “I hate losing, period. Even as a kid I could never digest a loss, so this is why losing isn’t a part of my vocabulary I always go for the win, no matter what.” Alex entered the poker world at the age of 21, playing mainly home games and micro cash games online, and quickly started developing a passion for the game.On March 30th, 2009 at “Fulltilt Poker” he made his 1st cash playing the daily dollar tournament where he placed 67th out of 6,443 entries.
After being trained by his brother Nicolas Milgrom, aka “NicoM23,″ who was also a daily grinder online, Alex improved his game and developed his own style. Only a year later, on February 18, 2010 that Alex aka “ENTVAlexM111,″ made his first major cash on February 18, 2010 for $1,961 on an original buy-in of $10. He beat 2,181 players and placed 3rd.
Soon after winning, Alex decided to take a break and focused on learning the game on a deeper level in order to move forward with his career. He took a 10 month break and came back in December of 2010 making his debut on UB (Ultimatebet.com). There he made a $1,000 deposit that ran into $29,535 in 5 weeks where he won the following: $2,375 on December 23, 2010; $4,750 on January 1, 2011; and $22,410 on January 16, 2011.
Since then, Alex has been playing the highest games on UB for limit cash games at $30/60 and $15/30 blinds, as well as tournaments ranging between $350 and $1,000.
